One of the great things about Biodiesel and other alternative fuels is that they not only appeal to the wealthy, including the Nouveau Riche, but also to the middle class as well. Doing what we can to become less dependent on foreign oil benefits everyone in the country, not just the rich or the poor. Even those that have just become wealthy are interested in our environment and energy issues.

Some of the people classified as Nouveau Riche (new rich) include Hollywood actors who come from humble beginnings, successful internet developers, and sometimes even politicians (like Bill Clinton for example). They bring an interesting take on the subject of alternative fuels. They have a background as a person that is more of the world, but are now someone who can afford to do pretty much whatever they want, yet they still support things to improve the world they live in.

Biodiesel and other alternative fuels remain a smart alternative in this world and it seems apparent to a number of people no matter what their socioeconomic background.
