Ford's belief that America will never adapt to diesel cars is the main reason why the new Fiesta will be marketed only to Europe. This is too bad as the car is rated to get 73mpg on the highway. Even it's 63mpg in the city is incredibly impressive in this day and age. A car like this could make a huge difference to some families and many commuters.
