Rising Fuel Prices - Even Alternative Ones - Affect Farmers

Farmers, by the nature of their business, have to have their product delivered on time, if they don't it will spoil and be worthless. The rising cost of fuel has allowed many commuters and businesses to revamp or take a different approach in their travel or shipping strategy. Farmers don't have that luxury, they have to get their goods to market. Most farms run on diesel and with the rising cost of regular and biodiesel it is making it extremely difficult for farmers to get their product to market and remain profitable.
